Tim was appointed as pastor of the Westport Community Church in December, 2000.  His wife, Blossom was raised just a few miles away in the community of Birkenfeld where they now live.  Tim and Blossom are coming up on 30 years of marriage in which they have enjoyed the challenge of raising twelve children.  They are also blessed with six grandchildren and another one on the way. 

Tim & Blossom met at Prairie Bible Institute and have been involved in various ministries since 1979, when they joined the Gospel Missionary Union, serving one term in Bolivia.  They returned to Oregon in 1986 and spent several years working in logging, construction, and ministry in the Birkenfeld Community Church.

As a family, they enjoy many activities.. sports, hunting, fishing, skiing, horse riding... and always lots of music.
But most of all, God has given them a real love for the people that God has called them to serve in Westport.  Pastor Tim says, "we have been amazed time and again at what God is doing in the lives of His people in this small community, and we have been blessed beyond measure."
