The Westport Community Church actively seeks to help our youth to grow, both spiritually and physically. The youth groups program is just one aspect used to help achieve that goal. We meet every Friday at 7:00 - 9:00 PM and ages 10-18 are welcome. The youth are separated into two groups. Ages 10-12 make up the Jr. Youth Group and is led by Kristina Johnston. Ages 13-18 make up the Sr. Youth Group and is led by Dan Johnston. The evening is separated into two parts, a lesson and an activity. 

Many of our youth are homeschooled and youth group provide a great way for the youth to get together for some good clean fun, sport, and fellowship. Since God has blessed us with a gym, winter activities stay warm and dry.

Many of our youth provide essential services to God. Some such examples are helping the elderly with their lawns and assisting with keeping the church grounds mowed and clean. They saved the church a lot of money this winter as they crawled all through the roofs and insulated the entire complex with the exception of one wing which is not currently used. Their impressive attitude of willing to be a servant of the Lord is most commendable.

The Youth also serve as audio and visual engineers for our worship services. Running our eight channel sound system and visual display. Several are also involved in the Music Ministry within the Church, whether its playing the piano or providing music specials.
